Access

The RNCA computing resources are intended for public or private research, technology and innovation/industry communities in any scientific area. Interested parties may access them through the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P.) national calls according to the conditions under each call or submit an access request.

In addition to access to national resources, the EuroHPC (European Joint Undertaking for High Performance Computing) joint initiative provides a European high-end supercomputer infrastructure, including pre-exascale and petascale technology, to meet today's needs and requirements. In particular, it aims to attract users from SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and the public sector. Interested parties can access it through the EuroHPC calls. The RNCA provides support to interested parties in Portuguese territory.

* Up-to-date information on national and European access calls can be found on the FCT website. The FCT support to be granted is exclusively in the form of time allocation for the use of advanced computational resources, and does not include funding of any kind, particularly with a view to financing expenses related to personnel needed for the implementation of the computational project.
