INCD

National Distributed Computing Infrastructure

The INCD - National Infrastructure for Distributed Computing is a digital infrastructure to support research, approved in the scope of the roadmap for strategic research infrastructures of the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT).

It makes computing and storage services available to the national scientific and academic community in all areas of knowledge. The infrastructure is especially geared to providing scientific computing services, supporting researchers and participation in national and international projects.

INCD's technical team keeps a close eye on the user, offering solutions tailored to the needs and specificities of each project.

INCD participates in the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI), the Iberian Computing Infrastructure (IBERGRID), the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG), the European Open Science Cloud through the EOSC-hub project, and EOSC-synergy.
