3rd RNCA Meeting
The RNCA 2023 Meeting was held on November 7 and 8 at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto-Douro, in Vila Real.
The RNCA organizes this annual meeting for users, technicians and partners, and provides news about the network, develops the national HPC ecosystem and provides a meeting point for all those interested in Advanced Computing.
The 2 days focused on users and the future of the RNCA.
2nd RNCA Meeting
The RNCA 2022 Meeting was the second event organized by the National Network for Advanced Computing (RNCA), a collaborative platform managed by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT), through the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN).
This event was 100% face-to-face and took place in the Small Auditorium of LNEC, in Lisbon, and was sponsored by Fujitsu.
1st RNCA Meeting
The RNCA 2021 Meeting was the first event organized for the National Network for Advanced Computing (RNCA).
A 100% online event over 3 mornings, organized by FCCN - FCT unit with the support of several RNCA partners. Inspired by the 3 pillars of the National Strategy for Advanced Computing published in 2019, promoted by INCoDe.2030 - National Initiative in Digital Skills:
- Day 1 - Infrastructure: Advanced Computing in Portugal. What is RNCA? And Deucalion? Presentation of the centers and platforms.
- Day 2 - Infostructure: Training Opportunities in Advanced Computing: National and European Offer. EuroCC Project.
- Day 3 - People: Research & Innovation at RNCA. Access competitions. Sharing experiences and use cases. Round table between centers and users.
