Projeto EuroCC – NCC Portugal

O projeto EuroCC – Centro Nacional de Competência – surgiu para impulsionar o conhecimento em computação de alto desempenho (HPC) e as suas oportunidades na Europa. Este projeto teve sua primeira fase entre 2020 a 2022 e agora, apresentam se em uma Fase 2 até 2025.

Com financiamento da European HPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC-JU), o EuroCC e o CASTIEL (Coordenação e Apoio para os Centros de Competência Nacionais ao nível europeu) irão construir uma rede europeia de centros de competência em HPC. Estes projetos irão colmatar as lacunas existentes em competências em HPC, promovendo a cooperação e a implementação das melhores práticas em toda a Europa.

A FCT é a coordenadora e cofinanciadora nacional do EuroCC Portugal, tendo os membros da Rede Nacional de Computação Avançada como principais parceiros.
